Community is the cornerstone of the Internet. E-commerce may get all the press, but communication among like and not so like-minded individuals is what keeps the Net alive. This particular community of Internet Brothers will remain free of the trappings of commercialization. It will instead be a focused collection and forum for the little guy to open and expand his mind.

As the wise Joe Jenett once said, "Look around you — see all the little sites who have bought into the myth of gaining riches on the web — see all the creative content ruined by the effects of over-commercialization. The lines between creative content and commercial content have become blurred and as far as I'm concerned, that really sucks." This will not suck.

We invite you to speak your mind, or examine ours. Submit an article, tome, or insight — fact or fiction — for inclusion with the other brothers. Join in the discussion and comment on what has come before. Not sure what you want to write about? We offer a few suggestions as cannon fodder.

We don't expect your story to be a master's thesis, 500 to 1000 words is fine. But we will be selective, so take your time, let your hair down, and put passion into the words. The goal is quality, not quantity.

Send us email for rebuttal or enlightenment, if you like. Wanna help others find us? If you're so inclined, pick up a button or two to help us tell about it. Be the first on your block to say, "I'm an Internet Brother."
