Internet Brothers Presents: Children's Award

Children's Award Criteria

Age 13 and below. Simple. We can't prove your age, so please don't take advantage of us. Please be respectful of this requirement. We really want this award to be just for the children. They mean so much to the future of the Internet.

Parental approval. Make sure your parents know you are applying for this award. Have them review the Internet Brothers privacy policy. We will contact them as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule. We support all efforts to protect you from unscrupulous influences on the Internet.

Do it yourself. It is all right if your parents or teachers help you some with your web pages, but we're mainly looking for your original work. We don't necessarily expect you to have world-class design skills, though some of you might.

Learn as you go. The Internet is a fun and informative place. Take some time to observe the work of others and strive to improve yourself day by day. If at first you don't succeed; try, try again.

Remember this secret password. You will need it on your application. (saucy tomato)

Unlike many awards that score on some form of points system, Internet Brothers Presents is purely subjective. There are, however, certain tenets and principles of sound web development that we look for.

If you are interested, we've put together a series of suggested do's and don'ts we have learned over the years that may help you build a better site and improve your chances of winning one of our awards.

Submit your application.
